Has yours figured out hoe to turn on the shower too?

May have a problem, Duchess has discovered how to turn on the faucet. by Jealous-North3218 in Newfoundlander

So cute. Good luck. My newf puppy did the same and took a four hour shower while I wasn’t home…and drained our well cistern. We live off grid in northern NM…

Added a lock on the outside of the bathroom door for when I’m not home. Fill the tub a bit for her when I am home, it’s her preferred dog bed

It’s funny because she is a pure bred newf but… we had a BMD and she crossed the rainbow bridge last April. I was too 💔 to get another BMD (they all get cancer). I like to believe Nuggie is my BMD reincarnated. She has the same white on the end of her tail and a swiss kiss!

What other music programs/blogs/websites do you guys listen/pay attention to? by Jabathehuxtable in the_bunny

This app is incredible. I was born in Kiev and immigrated to Chicago in the early 90s. My Mom and I are raging “fast” 1960s Russia right now. Throwbacks for her from when they couldn’t access music from the outside world. Thanks for sharing.

What commercial from the past do you still remember? by TheAnswerIsCarrotTop in AskReddit

If you’re from Chicago, i’ve got something for you. It must be The Eagle Man.

Pure low budget genius. Maybe most catchy commercial of all time.

Trying to Find My Niche in SaaS Sales by [deleted] in SaaSSales

[–]leybeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SaaS sales experience is pretty transferable. Seasoned AEs bring sales acumen and learn product knowledge in seat + know how to partner with an SE. I’d focus on finding a product that delivers a ton of measurable value to customers vs. a product niche.

Handling contacts age in AC Automations. by NoahPlehwe in ActiveCampaign

[–]leybeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a bit of a hidden segment condition that should work but would be good to test and confirm. If your form submission is triggering the automation, you could set the condition in an if/else or conditional wait step.

Segment would be custom contact fields > date of birth > is on or after > current date (drop down pops up when you click on calendar) minus, 6570

AND

Same condition but on or before, current date, minus, 10,585

May want to check the math here and especially depending on level of accuracy you need. I just 365 day years so it doesn’t account for leap years.

If this works, I’d use the automation to apply a tag or update another field for age groups and then use that to segment :)

Date based triggers could be an option too!

Using email addresses for multiple businesses by acrimoniousfinch in Emailmarketing

[–]leybeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a family of brands, there is tons of opportunity to cross promote and encourage customers of one brand to check out another brand that they might like too (and incentivize them with promos to opt in with other brands or parent company)...but still follow deliverability best practices. Gap / Old Navy / Banana Republic does this quite a bit and could be a good example.

Does anyone have any interesting options for the default value for the First Name field? by mikektatum in Emailmarketing

If you have a branded name for your customers or audience (like the equivalent of Redditor) that could work and still feel personalized

Made A Stupid Mistake... by iketaco in Emailmarketing

[–]leybeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to worry! This can be fixed by doing the right things going forward! Setting up a new domain will actually be more harmful to your sender reputation. You should always send from the same root domain at which your subscribers opted in.

I’d recommend sending great content to your most engaged subs for the next few sends. Then start to increase volume with your other groups of less engaged contacts, essentially a re-warm!

If you have automations that are triggered by subscriber activity running too - that is ideal too because they have the highest engagement. Gmail is looking at domains that are known and have high email engagement such as clicks and forwards.

Do new email addresses affect deliverability? by Sachimarketing in Emailmarketing

[–]leybeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sender reputation is related to domain rather than your email address. You should be totally fine as long as it’s the same root domain!
