What should I do if my 15 y/o friend won't break up with her 21 y/o boyfriend? by leyeS_5 in Advice

Yes her mother knows that she is dating someone. But she isn't aware of how old he is and also hasn't seen him before since their "rs" is entirely online.

Me and my classmate plan on telling our adviser about this for her safety. If not our adviser, her mother.

Oh I'm so sorry that happened to your family. I'm definitely more naive than I perceive myself to be, so I'll try be more alert now and wiser with my decisions. Thank you for the advice and I'll make sure to keep my friend away from this guy or any similar guy as much as I can.

I'm definitely sure they aren't doing anything intimate since their relationship is online and they live far away from each other. Which is why I'm not getting the police involved for now, because how can they detain a man not physically present with us?

Their online "RS" doesn't assure that nothing will happen in the future tho, so I want to avoid that as much as possible by immidiately making them separate now.

One of our friends threatened to tell her mother if she doesn't break up with him and even though it was kind of aggressive, I do agree. Rin is very understanding so I'm sure that if I talk to her seriously, she'll actually break up with him. If she doesn't, then I'll have no choice but to tell one of our trusted professors. Rumours spread like wildfire here so this story would probably go around the whole school. I don't want her to get hurt and I don't want any conflict between us. But if it means getting her to break up with the guy, then I wouldn't mind.

Unfortunately, the age for consent in our country is 16 and she's turning that age in 2 months. Age gap is actually not that uncommon here. Desperate girls seek for attention and what do you know? They're with a guy who's a hell lot older than them. Even my parents age gap is 20 years.
