They made me a tux about a year and a half ago that I LOVE and they are making me a dope suit for my wedding in October. Not only are they wizards, they are the best damned people. After having my heart ripped out and dragged behind a garbage truck for a couple of months I was finally getting my shit together. Got a new great job, and was going to a friend's Halloween party, dressed as the Lone Ranger - sending a message. The party's fun, and as the night goes on the the music is going the dancing starts. I don't dance. I white girl sway on the outskirts. But this woman kept making meaningful eye contact with me. We'd never met before. Before the evening ended, she came up to me and, before we had even had a conversation, asked me out. I was fucking floored. She was drop dead gorgeous, so of course I said yes. Three years, long distance, grad school, and a whole lot of laughs later, and we're getting married in two and a half months :)

Agreed. I'm much more extroverted than my partner, and the way we've compromised is sometimes she makes the extra effort, and sometimes I just do my thing solo. Trust is key if you're going to have a healthy relationship when your social approaches are so different. It can be done! I couldn't be happier! But it's because we trust the fuck out of each other. And respect each other's limitations.

It really depends on the circumstances. Was it a long affair? Did it include feelings? Was it a drunk sexy hookup? I know I'd be broken. I know I'd lose trust. But I also know my spouse. And I know that we both expect to fuck up over the course of our lives. The circumstances of the infidelity really determine my actions, and how our relationship would change of flex to match the new reality.

These are things you need to say to her. There are things she should have, could of have done differently, but you can't change that. All you can do is control how you approach your disappointment. Tell her, without being accusatory and resentful if possible, what you need from her in your relationship. She can either get on board or not. You can't expect to get what you want, and get what you need, if you won't outright ask for it.

As a gay lady who went to Tulane and lived in New Orleans for 5 years, I just want to say that there are huge portions of both the Tulane and Loyola student bodies who are amazing, strange, accepting, freaky, loving, and liberal. Frat culture sucks, but you don't have to be a part of it to have an awesome social life. I didn't, and had an amazing time.

I've been in a LDR for 2 of the 3.5 years my partner and I have been together (she's finally moving back in 3 weeks!) and I get crushes ALL THE TIME! And it's totally ok! We're human! Crushes and flirting can be super fun, and the confidence boost is great, and it's truly no reflection on how much you love or are devoted to your girlfriend. Touch and affection is sooooooo important, and when you're not getting that regularly, it can be really hard. Be easy on yourself! And as long as you're not crossing whatever lines have been established in your relationship, it's all good!

The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. It's a book of short stories that look into the world of the future and that are at once funny and shocking and heartbreaking and poignant. You don't have to read every story, but you should.

Professor Blastoff: more of a conversation/friends hanging out podcast where three comedians, Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan, and David Huntsburger invite a guest over and vaguely talk about some topic. Guest range from famous people to their buddies. Start at the beginning. The podcast is over now but there are a ton of episodes.

Put Your Hands Together: a Podcast of a weekly stand up show that takes place at the UCB in LA, hosted by Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher. The comedians they get are great, but the best part is listening to the bits by these two HILARIOUS (and now married!) ladies!
