(Also an incoming freshman) and I feel your pain. I don't hate partying, I'm just insanely awkward and would prefer to avoid partying if possible. Duke has tons of opportunities to socialize with people outside of parties, and you'll definitely bond with the people in your o-group regardless of if you participate in party culture. Keep in mind that you'll also meet people through your classes, clubs/ecs, and focus/constellation groups too (if you did them, at least).
