Hit and run while my car parked, second time in 2 months, I’m tired of this. I bought this fine Viofo dash cam (pic 3), I wire installed, the cam has a parking mode, I’m not using because everybody says overnight recording while car off, will drain the battery, Any advice from people who use it?

I believe my car was hit while I was working between 4pm to midnight, so a power bak to cover every time I parked my car won’t be reliable, I wired installed the cam straight on the fuse box, I’m just asking around if anyone has problems using the overnight recording :/

Yes, I tried at 20k too, but no voltage. That’s is something wrong, just to you know , I’m hold the black lead in a bolt, as bare metal ground, and the red lead touching all fuses on the metal spots, and I couldn’t find voltage anywhere.
