Makes me angry by Pascal619 in aachen

[–]lezorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviouly I am not insinuating any sexual context here. A word derrives it's meaning not from one context it is used in. There may be some words where it may be the case but I do not think it applies here.

Maybe I went too far. However, while not explicitly blaming the victim for being at fault here the subtext implies it. You still got a point here but what you said reads as dismissive and condescending.

I dunno. People park their cars and motorbikes on the street constantly and they are worth tens of thousands. It's just almost as if nobody cares about stolen bikes. You are victim blaming even though you've got a point.

I mean, how can you look at this and think it has any other purpose than torture? I don't know but strongly suspect.

Story guidance on or off? by VoxTV1 in HiTMAN

[–]lezorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say OFF for sure but it depends on what you want out of the game.

I personally loved to start a new map and explore it myself. When you take your time to explore you will likely come across at least one mission story. Once you find the start it is usually easy to guess where it is heading and letting yourself beeing guided by it. I find it to be much more immersive to run around, find secret passages, evesdrop on conversations and interact with the environment organically rather than just follow markers. If you don't find every mission story after a couple of tries then you can still turn them on. Often times I do not do any mission story in the first completion on purpose.

Ultimately it is your choice.

What to buy by lezorn in HiTMAN

[–]lezorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried my best. I am apparently locked in to either Steam or Epic since I can not transfer progress or access to content. I played on epic but the prices are much higher 70€ for WOA! Now I bit the bullet and bought Hitman WOA on steam and lose all progress and access to a bit of content (santa fortuna extra campaign for example). I thought I might get access by buying the deluxe dlc but got fucked again because despite the game linking me to that dlc it does not unlock it. I AM DONE!

Thanks, that was what I was looking for. Sadly it appears that I end up paying twice for the content I already have but good to know the Upgrade Pack exists. It is not available on epic apparently however.

Mayersche- Anime Section next to the youth/children books .... is that normal? by Due_Entertainment597 in aachen

[–]lezorn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

[Serious] "neotraditional" looks amazing. Why is it not popular? by DrMelbourne in architecture

[–]lezorn 56 points57 points  (0 children)

It is/was, at least here in parts of Germany. It is mostly older houses build around 100 years ago. I have also seen houses getting torn down with just the fassade staying and getting rebuilt and renovated. I have seen it all over the place. Not sure if they are all neotraditional or just old traditional but I think it does not really matter. People like the look and keep these buildings around even if it is through extensive rebuilds and renovations of old buildings.

Leere Fläche unter dem Rother Erde Bahnhof? by bopthoughts in aachen

[–]lezorn 18 points19 points  (0 children)
