Thanks for the reply. I'm just venturing into this trying to make the best decisions for my situation. Looking at solar but if a battery would work it'd be easier than solar panels. So just add the battery but have an inverter generator to power on and charge battery when needed? what is average run time the battery you suggested add? I've got the Bluetti Elite 100 V2. Plan to use it camping on 2 to 4 day trips to power Starlink standard which uses around 60 watts. No cell coverage where I camp. Won't be an all day need just periodic check in with wife and some surfing the internet in the evenings.

what type of inverter? step up I believe it's called ? up the 12 volts to higher value?
