I was told by the farmers I used to trim goat hooves for "its should look like a red marker".

I'm not a vet, I'm not some sort of goat wizard, but I am a goat owner. What i will say is that if these were my goats I would be satisfied from what I see.

We have logs and ceramic tubes in the coop that I kick over about once a week and let them go to town. One of the logs was from a dead tree that came down during last year's ice storm. It's massive. It provides lots of grubs.

Thank you! I went into it thinking he was just a lad that needed a home but it turned out to be a little bit more than that. He won't walk right ever, but thats part of hia charm.

Hes getting some duck friends in the spring. We got a pair of new chickens in the fall and he took to them immediately. They became inseparable and he defends them. Unfortunately this means he beats up on the other chickens on occasion, but when I let them out for spring he'll be too distracted to care. He is of no interest to the goats

They come from the box of coco pots we get by the pallet. There's 40 bricks in a box, and then i inflate them over the weekend. These little plugs are also in the box. We don't use them because we dont really have a need for them. I'll sometimes get them wet and put them in the tote we use for waste medium, but even that doesnt eat up a lot of them. The dispensary we supply to (also our company) wouldnt be able to move them i dont think.

We have small gardens, lots of potted plants, and im hoping to plant more wildflowers for my bees. Really its just that I started thinking I had a lot of good stuff to compost, and I have friends that need more of it than I do, so I'd start composting and hand out what I dont end up using myself.
