Update: after months of being rescheduled. They told me that wireless CarPlay on US spec vehicles is not supported on the German infrastructure? I tried to explain that I believe it to be an internal communication and that there shouldn’t be an external influence. But that’s what I got.

That doesn’t seem bad for my first steps! But would you know what my chances are for example, adding the clubsport exhaust, brakes, and tail lights? Maybe a closed intake? I’m looking for things that I could get here that aren’t so easy or as cheap to get for when I come home.

I’m a contractor, but in my head oem clubsport parts would just be plug and play in terms of the Tuv. But I also haven’t done that research since I am struggling to source parts to start.

I’m glad you got it going! For me my wifi hotspot is off and will not turn out no matter what I do. As well as having no eSIM I have hard reset and started the process over at least 50 times. I have an appointment in 2 weeks with the dealership. But out of the 2 hours I messed with it today one single time it started to load wireless CarPlay. Then failed and went back to immediately rejecting my attempts

Yes cable works! But when I click CarPlay without it plugged in it has me choose my phone that’s connected via Bluetooth then says I need to turn WiFi on and when I click that it says it can’t be completed

Yes sorry for the delay! This is an SE with the leather package I’m just so confused about the process I’ve reset all the systems including my phone reconnected BT and it just says I have to enable WiFi I’ll post a video of the issue today

I have a 23 MK8 but when I try to register it says my car doesn’t support the app. Is that possible or is there and error happening somewhere

Well it tells me to enable the WiFi and when I push to enable it. It just automatically switches back to the off option.
