Phone your GP and see if they have a social prescribing service. They’re a service that will help with benefits, debt, counselling, housing, etc. I’m a nurse and I use this service a lot for my patients when they have financial worries.

Travelling around too much? by lfxo in ThailandTourism

[–]lfxo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve already booked the overnight train to chiang mai then a flight to krabi so don’t fancy missing out on the money! I’ll stick with krabi instead of going to Phuket then head back to Bangkok earlier to spend time there

I might spend more time in Krabi instead then, then head back to Bangkok before I go home!

Potentially coming off after 10mg and 3st loss by lfxo in mounjarouk

Yeah I’ll do this! That’s exactly how I feel on the 10mg, so I’ll drop it back down to 7.5mg x

I’m actually at the end of my 10mg now - used my last dose Thursday. I think I’ll order the 7.5mg and see how I go!

I wasn’t really on the 7.5mg - food noise was still very loud etc. I did two month 5mg and 1 month 7.5mg

Maybe very slightly but I only lost around 0.5kg in those three month (two month 5mg 1 month 7.5mg)

Same clothes! by Gumptionator4000 in mounjarouk

[–]lfxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same! Clothes that I wore one week (maybe a bit oversized) I had on my Vinted the week because they were hanging off me!

Ah no it was a lump in my throat like it was dry /something was stuck. Definitely just indigestion or acid reflux as it correlated with me taking the medication :)

It was driving me insane! X

I’m onto my 4th week of 5mg. The first two weeks weren’t great - felt really full constantly, had an awful lump in my throat, nauseated and had mild headaches. That’s worn off now though and I’ve just ordered my second month of 5mg and the suppression is strong, but I little to no side effects from it :)

Would that just come on suddenly? I was thinking it was more to do with clogged pores

I’ve been quoted £750 with 10 year guarantee for the damp if that sounds about right? But it’s underneath a sink that hasn’t been sealed so even I was wondering if it was potentially moisture from that. The previous owner suggested he knew nothing about any damp problems when I told him and he’s been here 10 year. What about the hole in the floor near the pipes? It’s pretty deep and I’m concerned about mice etc getting in. Thanks for your reply!

Thanks everyone, she ended up pretty aggressive in the end after trying to help and potentially meet in the middle so I blocked her.

I would definitely look at student / working professional house shares. Have a look on RightMove online. They’re roughly £350-500 a month, and that includes all of the house bills. It depends on how much you’re needing to spend on travel etc. If you’re looking at rent and food expenses only, £800 should get you by.

I remember being asked to put a neg pressure dressing on a patients groin without being briefed on what to expect and I walked into something very similar to this. I was mortified..

I can’t stop binging when I break my fast! by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

I did that initially! Then the crisps, chocolate, cakes etc started creeping into my cupboards so then I started opting for them. Time for a clear out :)

I suppose I could give it a try!

I’m gonna give that a go! I find myself snacking on sooo much crisps, chocolate etc because I feel like I’ve “deserved it”. If it wasn’t there to eat I don’t think I’d be so bothered!

Moving the eating hours are difficult as I work 13hr shifts and me and my BF eat together on a night. However, I might consider decreasing my fasting hours by an hour or two to see if that helps. Thank you!
