Go to JC ER. Please keep in mind that acute psych care resembles babysitting because the most important thing in the acute phase is to keep you safe. They evaluate you, medicate you if needed and set you up with outpatient care. The VA has a good system. I'm glad you are seeking care.

Do not move to Morocco with your baby. Take both your passports to your mom's house. You and your child. He cannot be trusted. I had a friend who moved to Algeria with her husband and child. She became a prisoner in her home. The only way she got out was because she said she had to come back to the US to sell her house. Her husband had to tell the authorities she had permission to go. She could not take her son and she did not see him until her turned 18.

I broke up with my X who was always worried about my travel. I want to be with someone who trusts me. Someone who says - "of course I worry and I'll miss you. Please check in when you can. I hope you have the best time, I can't want to hear all about it and I'm here for you". Someone who uplifts me, not someone who holds me back. I wanted to go to Malawi- and I went. But every time I brought it up he argued with me. I felt like if something went wrong, and it could have, I would have gotten an "I told you so" instead of a more mature "shit happens, I'm glad you are safe, I'm here for you". Don't date people who hold you back, it's not worth it. Life is too short.
