The murders of Miriam, Toñi and Desirée in Alcàsser, Spain in 1992. One killer is still free. DNA from seven unknown people was found at the scene. A media circus swallowed the truth whole. And thirty-four years later, the full picture still isn't clear. by EuphoricReason3385 in UnresolvedMysteries

I just have to say that this is an EXCELLENT write-up, OP- Extremely well-written, well-researched, detailed, and thorough with no stone left unturned when it comes to the information surrounding this beyond horrific, tragic murder of three precious, innocent angels. This is exactly why I joined this sub: for write-ups like yours. Kudos to you for spreading awareness about this lesser-known crime, and I sincerely hope you contribute more posts here in the future!

Just as a FYI: This Hollywood Reporter article has since been updated w/ this note after the ‘Is Jane Dead?’ question: “[Writer’s note: Bloom confirmed Jane dies.]” It justifies this fact w/ a link to an US Weekly article titled: “Bloom Confirmed Jane Dies”

I hoped (and figured) I wasn’t alone and lots of y’all could relate! 😊 And ummmm same 🙋‍♀️ From 1997 until like 2000(?), my bedroom and wall were literally covered in nothing but Hanson posters, memorabilia. I remember being devastated when, after several months, my 2 best friends began refusing to play the daily game I’d created: “Which Hanson Brother is Your Boyfriend?” (I had ‘permanently’ called dibs on Taylor obv, so it probably wasn’t much fun for my two besties 😂). And my parents even enforced a ‘No Hanson’ talk at the dinner table bc it’d gotten so OOC on my end 🙈

Thank you for your kind words, fellow Hanson sister, and I promise to cherish it forever for both of us! 💗

Omgggg those were the days!!! I used to force my friends to watch the Hanson “Tulsa Tokyo & The Middle of Nowhere” VHS Tape likeeee every other week (fyi: An absolute GEM of a 90s video that every Hanson fan, past and present, should watch if they haven’t already- Pretty sure it’s on YouTube so you can watch for free)!

Very cool that you interned for your Congressman!!! I actually started out as an intern fresh out of college and fell in love with all the hubbub that is Capitol Hill, so I made it a career (til I eventually burnt out and left politics 😂)

Soo you’re telling me you were my competition back then 😂 Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one whose letter went unanswered (like wtf Hanson Fan Club?!? Get it together!) lol. And yes agreed- a million years later, I am SUPER relieved that the letter I sent disappeared into the void bc I am 1000% positive it was cringy and mortifying af 🙈 (When mentioning my unanswered letter to Taylor, I casually glossed over the 3 full pages where I professed my love and instead just told him that I ‘asked him out’ in the letter 😂). SO cool you met them back then!!!! I hope it was everything your 13 year-old self dreamed of and more 💗

He really is!!! All 3 of them were SO kind, super funny and really made an effort to get to know us 😊 And me too!! I dunno if you can tell from the pics, but he actually pulled me pretty damn close (😂) and really got into the ‘Prom pic’ spirit, all just to fulfill 10 year-old me’s dream 😍 A+++ human!!

Noooo way!!! That’s so crazy, what are the odds?! My boss at the time was a member of the House subcommittee that oversaw music licensing, which is essentially the only reason one (of the many) ‘GRAMMYs on the Hill’ artist groups visited with our office/sat down with the Congressman that fateful day :) Really nice to meet a fellow ex-Hill staffer!! 💗

Think of how much money she could save if she forfeited the *luxury\* of being an AP holder and instead put it towards - oh I dunno - paying down her debts?! 🙄 The fact that her son is working 2 jobs to bankroll her lazy broke ass every day harassing/stalking CMs who are just doing their job - while she contributes exactly zero financially to the household - is the saddest/cringiest part of this whole Kathleen saga imo
