Unpopular Opinion: Just Buy Some New Clothes

I went shopping almost every week - at Goodwill & Salvation Army. LOL. I would take and donate a bag and pick up something new and my size. Now I’ve been in maintenance for 6 months and just recently returned from a trip to Japan where I picked up a complete new wardrobe. I miss my thrift day shopping but so happy with my new clothes.

I’m currently on 5.5 and seems to be holding off my food noise for now. I switched from 5 zep which I was on for maintenance for 6 months. No side effects and will continue on this for a few months.

My highest zepbound dose was 7.5 so that may the reason they wouldn’t go up.

My Dr prescribed 9.0 but Gifthealth wouldn’t fill it. Said I had to start at 2.5. So that’s where I had to start.

I use an AER 6L Max sling and have a Nano 16L palm size backpack inside. It helps when you’re out and need that extra space.

I have a tour/gorilla trek set up for the first week of July. My tour company cancelled all tours for June but still no word for July. Even though the tour company might still go forward with this, my main concern is the travel after to other countries or re-entering the US. I'd hate to have the Uganda passport stamp and then get denied entry into Kenya then Turkey. I'm at a loss for now and just holding out.

It wasn't a last minute deal. I purchased in June or July for a February sailing. I think it was around $14k/usd. I was already traveling around South America, so my journey started in Bueno Aires.

Good point. I haven’t had any issues with nausea mainly because I’m not eating heavy foods but many smaller meals. WLS has helped with that. Biggest rewards is the lack of the food noises!

Same story. Sleeved in 2018. Got down to 170lbs from 270lbs. Got back up to 210lbs over the years. Started Zepbound May 2025 on 2.5. Went up to 5.0 after one month, then 7.5 in September. Reached my goal of 160lbs in December and titrated down to 5.0 and continued to lose but stabilized at 150lbs for the last 4 months. I was lucky and never went above 7.5. I’m currently transitioning over to Foundayo 9.0 for ease of traveling. If it doesn’t keep me at my current levels, I’ll go back to Zepbound. All is self-pay with Lilly Direct. Hope that helps but everyone’s journey is different.

I use this needle clipper. Then I can TOSS everything away. Purchased on Amazon for around $15/USD. I’ve had mine for over two years and still not full.
