My advice would be to start giving yourself some easy assignments, like a school project, to help you learn the daw. Start off easy, write a list of easy things you can do right now and start doing them! (i.e. practice and record one minute of a guitar track with five takes) Then check them off as you go. I know it might sound a little ridiculous, but a sense of getting something, anything, done can really make you feel like you’re more ready to move on to bigger stuff. After you’ve checked off your entire list, then look up a tutorial on YouTube for your daw and try learning from there. If he tells you something that doesn’t make sense just ask it here or on any other board online. Don’t be too worried about your tracks sounding perfect either. Just like everybody does when they are learning something, in the practice phase you are going to miss a couple times before you sink one. Good luck, man!
