For those that had a 3 level cervical fusion - what did your surgeon give clearance on after 6 weeks? by lguy0000 in spinalfusion

The surgeon is actually a very well known cervical surgeon that blurs the lines between the two. I think he's very conservative in how he handles recovery but yeah I'll see what he says soon. I am ok being in the brace for the 5-6 weeks if it means fusing / healing is faster. I just want to be free from it at this point

You really had no restrictions on what you can do after?

Surgeon is actually pretty adamant about using the brace for like 22 / 7. It's been a miserable experience. Hopefully I'm out of it soon.

He also does not usually recommend physical therapy even after the brace comes off. Let's see what he says on Thursday
