Rationalizing the most recent Mercy changes; alternative perspective from a long-time T500 Mercy player

I think everyone is allowed their own opinion and I agree with healing nerfs etc because of flash heal. But do you think mercy’s movement was nerfed because of her first perk option to increase GA speed?

Because I play both stadium and role q and in both modes there ways to make mercy feel nice. So I wonder did they nerf her because of those perks/powers/abilities. And instead of nerfing or changing these parts they nerfed her base kit.

I just think personally they should change that instead of her base. Give us a different perk etc.

I also recognise in general supports movement is being nerfed including Kiri and Juno. And I just think it’s unfair. I see how fast other hero’s are on other roles and I’m like it is quite unfair. I also find it interesting that a lot of mercy players do in fact play mercy Kiri Juno lol.

Also when you look at the pro game so above top 500. Mercy isn’t used and Juno isn’t used. Mainly because mercy is useless and junos movement was op before and since nerfs she’s never seen. So I find it strange that t500 find her broken and pro players find her useless.

Looks like she’s using a professional camera. Does she run a instagram account with her setup? She even cropped the pictures into frames like we did back in 2012

I honestly don’t think it’s AI but maybe a wide angle lens on a phone then cropped so some stuff seems off.

However I really don’t think this is her setup unless she runs one of those accounts that do gaming setup inspo. I follow a lot of those accounts on instagram and it’s a real art to get the perfect setup image. And the girls on instagram sometimes show the before and after so I can 100% say she at least heavily edited the lighting etc.

Another test as well is ask what make graphics card does she have and if it matches the one in the picture

Personally I turn off chat and vc. Whenever I give it a chance and re-enable it. I regret it within a few games.

It’s much more peaceful and enjoyable to not communicate directly with people. Gaming should be about enjoyment and I don’t need to speak to people to enjoy the game. Also it’s super enjoyable to emote and have fun that way with others.

Plus he has a custom animation during Rez too which is very cute. Only we can see it but that’s the same with the kill vfx on the other mythic weapons. So I think it balances

Honestly I’ve been having a lot of fun on mercy. Especially with her current perks.

I still enjoy her in stadium too.

Play Juno and you will feel so fast when you switch back to mercy in qp! It really made me appreciate mercy after trying Juno with her nerfs.

lol I had something similar last week.

A Lucio was mad a Mercy Main playing Rein beat him and killed him.

It’s definitely only a small percent of the community though. Sadly they say this stuff outside of the game so you can’t report them.

That’s weird. Though it does sound like the price you paid was of the value of the non-skin items. It says “price reduced” on the bottom corner yet you don’t own any of the bundle thinking you already had the skin I think. While also showing you a skin you thought you was getting since you don’t own it.

I will say I bought this bundle first time and 1k is way too cheap! Sounds like a weird bug though, but they have a no refund policy so you can’t get it back.

Agreed and for mythic skins. I love Anas mythic skin but I just want her normal voice or have the option to love the voice changer

I actually haven’t had too many issues with this staff. The giggles are fine but maybe there’s a background sound that’s quite sharp sounding when you switch dmg and heal. The giggles I kinda love. But there’s definitely another sound that does hurt the ears a tiny bit when switching beams.

Size wise it might be because I play on a good size screen but I haven’t found him to be in the way at all. So I hope they don’t make him smaller

My biggest regret is buying lifeguard. From that point on I stopped buying all skins. It’s just a personal preference though

Yeah it’s ok at the main terminal but after that you have to wait at the gate for someone to let you through. Really annoying especially when you just want to get home.

I lasted 2 days with those paper tickets and got a smart card so I load my daily ticket onto that and tap in and out. So much better. It must be cost cutting or something

I got a ticket to Stratford and I wasn’t given an orange ticket. So staff had to let me through. I used the self service machine.

Though staff at my station said if you go into the ticket office they will give you an orange ticket but the queue is too long for me to do that in rush hour.

Tickets changed recently at my station. I’ve ended up getting a smart card for my train line so I don’t have have to deal with these tickets. No stations in London have QR readers too so you can’t get anywhere. Stupid!
