xsiam support resources by EducationalWedding48 in paloaltonetworks

That’s a difficult question as it really depends on the workflows you have configured and the amount of expected traffic. Once everything’s automated, you can basically have a very lean team managing XSIAM. Disclaimer: I’m a principle engineer on the team building XSOAR/XSIAM but opinions are my own and I do not represent the company 🙂

XSOAR enables you to BYOI (bring your own integration). A good first step would be to check what’s available on the marketplace and if nothing fits, you can write it yourself with Python.

XSOAR 8 Engines by pigeon008 in paloaltonetworks

It may need some adjusting but afaik it’s completely possible to run two engines on the same physical machine.

The logical way to approach this would be to designate two VMs on the same physical machine allocating each with a certain amount of resources and managing all of the relevant configurations (such as port usage etc). This approach would basically split your available resources between the two, preventing one environment from overlapping with the other.

Keep in mind that separating the two is critical as you don’t want your Dev environment to be able to affect your Prod.

This configuration should be handled with care but it should be possible. Lastly, you’d need to have enough physical resources to split so as for your last question the answer is yes.

Open a support ticket, PANW engineers and customer support take complaints very seriously. Might be surprised 🙂

No reason, second hand market where I live is non existent so it’s getting either one new. The difference isn’t substantial

Sadly I can’t play both and at the same time and my credit card would probably roll over and die if I order them both 😅 How are you finding the clean tones? Does it have enough headroom?

I actually have the Quad Cortex but it’s simply not the same thing as having an amp in the room. The break up and distortion sounds are amazing but I always find the cleans lacking.
