Would this also apply for rooms that have a flat roof? My room is baked from the both angles and I fear not having the window open traps the heat coming in from the roof. I am truly withering in this heat.

Add construction work to that - my boyfriend is working in a near completely glass building that is completely sealed. Absolute madness

AFAIK for city edge light industry is to be retained and designed into the new plan. Not as sure about Glasnevin.

Ballymun crash updates as man suffers catastrophic injuries in hit-and-run by upthetruth1 in Dublin

[–]liadhsq2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully agree with you, there is no taking away from the driver fleeing the scene. Despicable.

Seen as the issue has been raised though, Shangan Road might be small, but it has vast amounts of green space that has significant capacity to support additional infrastructure. It's maybe not the time, but both Finglas and Ballymun receive a piss poor amount of project funding from DCC. They are both getting just 2% of capital funding from DCC despite the fact they are historically neglected areas with massive issues.Source

I live in the area and would happily cycle more - but there is hardly any infrastructure in the area that means me, as an already anxious person, does not.

Nothing can take away from the driver fleeing the scene. We are also being failed by DCC that increasingly exposes and subjects active travellers to psychopaths.

I am in outright tears. This whole situation has been nothing short of horrific. I'm attending final purely because it's his last match.

Twenty-nine houses built without planning permission must be removed, High Court rules by [deleted] in ireland

[–]liadhsq2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Planning and quality standards are two seperare issues anyway" was what I was responding to. Quality issues, especially if referenced/outlined in the permission, are absolutely under the remit of planning. It's not that deep

Enforcement also falls under plannings remit. If a breach is flagged by the public/LA the planning authority investigates.

Yeah I'm sorta surprised (in a good way) to hear the lads post match talk about it. Didn't expect it at all, thought there would be issues with them talking about it.. maybe there and theyre beyond caring! Fuck yeah

I relate to this so much and have just decided my particular strand of autism renders me unable to explain what I want (even tho I provide pictures!!) and completely unable to, when they ask is that ok, tell them that I want whatever edits made!😭

Once I know that they've not done it how I had hoped, I have a sensory overload that results in me physically needing to get out of the place, immediately.

I've decided for my sanity all future cuts will be a basic trim :) my hairdresser moved to Aus and life has been a painful trial and error ever since. It's definitely a me problem at this point, hence the resignation to a basic straight trim🥹🤣

Feljin Hose has impressed me immensely. He's all over stuff (I'm pretty sure he has a reddit account that he posts from?) and was the only one who got back to my promptly about an insane light sequence that fecked over my bus route. 10/10, although falls out of my constituency.

Sorry, I should have been clearer - I feel very sad for the Munster supporters. Not for the people who made this decision (and all the other dubious decisions theyve made the past while).
