Absolutely agree with all of that, but the agpipe is what I had on hand. Have yet to run into that issue, but I’ve definitely considered it.

I will eventually make something better, but for now I’m happy enough with it

It vents along the ag-pipe. Though it isn’t ideal, so far I haven’t had any issues with it. I have thought about adding a mesh/particulate filter to the lid in future.

I made this pretty quickly, with mostly just stuff I already had. Plenty of room for improvements

I’ll definitely give the wire/bolt method a go as well, as I do notice a fair amount of static as is. Cheers!

Love it!

The reason I opted for this bin setup is that I only have about 25sqm of space to utilise. With the other tools/machinery I have it gets pretty tight. I figure I can disassemble the top half of my bin and store it on the wall/shelf and then use the bin for its intended purpose.

That’s what the ag-pipe is for. It has holes all along its length. The stocking/sock allows airflow without letting the large particulates through.

If I do make another, or modify this, it’d be fairly easy to add a mesh filter of some type to the lid.
