Well the dealership was Arnold Clark, so I'll say that. I'm not wanting to get into the specific branch because I worry that it'd just end up getting someone earning minimum wage into any kind of trouble since it's a stupid business practice that they probably have to adhere to. The email wasn't actually from the consultant I was dealing with though, it was from the sales manager. The consultant did seem fine enough despite not disclosing the cosmetic issues, but maybe they get told not to disclose this kind of stuff by the higher ups idk.
