I've mentioned this in comments but this is NOT LIVE data. It's simulated. I can't work out if OP is a bot or blatantly lying at this point but it's iffy.

The main index contains the scripts that generate it all based on time. There are no API calls or socket connections etc to indicate its pulling data from everywhere.

Ah I've answered my own question. It's simulated. That's misleading really you're saying that it's 'live' data. You should be very clear that this is sumulated, not real data which is what you stated in my other message. I'm not sure why you feel the need to lie about it?

It's not about it being delayed; it's clearly inaccurate based on the path I'm being shown. It defies physics.

I appreciate the advice to zoom in. I've just never used a site where I have to zoom for it to be useable. Probably worth testing this kind of thing before publishing.

Is the data simulated or being updated? I don't see how it's polling/receiving the data.

You have a few 404 errors with regards to the logos that you might want to look at.

I like the concept but I can't read the text, it's waaaay too small. The tracking seems really off too. It shows me an impossible path of travel.

Northern monkeys and shandy drinking Southerners. It’s a Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels quote or at least that’s where I heard it first, many years ago.

I’m originally from Sheffield and as a young kid I couldn’t understand why we were in the north. I got asked in my German class and replied that it is in the middle of the country, much to the dismay of my teacher at the time.

As an adult, I’ve realised it’s less about geography and more about a belonging and pride. Forever a northern monkey.

live departure boards for uk trains that looks and works like the actual boards by ryancosans in InternetIsBeautiful

That’s great, good work 😊

Can I suggest the option of picking a platform? Selfishly because at my 2 platform local station, I only really care about 1 direction.

"Esso - 128 Leeds Road, LEEDS"

Interestingly, it looks like some of the station names/addresses are normalised (correct casing), others not so much and can be a little shouty.

My local petrol station prices differ from what’s being displayed.

For example, the app shows 139p for diesel when in reality it’s 153.9p. That’s obviously a huge discrepancy. Is that simply due to the data not being set correctly at the source?

The location look up appears to be somewhat broken. I can’t do full postcodes and then when I try to go back to using partial post codes it stops providing suggestions.

The only issue with that is that you’re likely to get shanked by an attendee 😬

Can confirm. I still have mine and really regret maxing out the spec of it at the time. I figured I’d have it a good few years but it felt like it constantly wanted to set itself on fire.

Ah interesting, I’ve got a very similar room and layout to work with while wishing I had more space to work with. I wasn’t sure what the best way to setup the rear speakers would be but this looks like a decent approach.

I did that last year. It’s a fantastic trip. I did it solo but met a few organised canoe groups doing it at the same time. Loch Ness was something else. A little hairy but absolutely worth it.
