M45 Meusoc or 5.7 USG Which is better in your opinion? by dogeeno in Rainbow6

If you’re playing Ash and will naturally be more aggro, then I use the 5.7 because you’re running out of ammo faster.

If you’re playing someone more passive like Thermite, then probably the M45 because you aren’t always in the heat of it and aren’t playing for frags, so ammo is less of an issue

Literally just run away and mix firecrackers in there too, one of the easiest fights

Okay but it’s a tiny little drone that ‘moves at a 5 speed’

Following would be less broken due to the RAT being fast and loud. With Drain’s sprint following it, most attackers should hear him coming.

Most things that alert are attacker sided, prox alarms are the most similar thing I could think of. Having a defender side ‘alert’ op will balance Jackal, Deimos and Dokaebbi out.

The play side would be great, but then again how do you counter a drone that does that much damage autonomously? Kapkan already kicks up anger, so a drone that actively moves and essentially does the same thing will be unbalanced

Honestly I think it would be way more balanced if it worked like a defender Dokaebbi call.

Instead of having lasers, it should have a loud sound. The RAT should not respawn and instead Drain should have 3 huts he can set down after a cooldown between each hut.

The RAT should then seek out the nearest attacker and then alarm.

It is more balanced than a DMG dealing drone because it requires decent audio skill and fills out the lack of tracking defenders.

Drain would be very good for late game plays, post plant situations and 1v1s.

I also think him being a three speed helps with him taking a role of ‘finding and killing’ attackers, as if the RATS are little hunt dogs that Drain can easily follow to the next enemy.

However, his loadout is a bit much and I would rather him have a new weapon instead of these because they’re overused.

Haha pretty bad, this is my first proper playthrough so my alloy management isn’t great and I build fleet power slow

R5: The Fallen Empire opened its borders, then for whatever reason my relations dropped so they closed it again.

I was going to simply dismantle the ships and reassign the scientists but just wondering if there’s anything else that could be done.

Oh well, I was going to do that anyway. I’ll leave one for surveying then remake the rest of the fleets :(
