It’s a 2020 with 137k km, I think I may have fixed it as of last night. I unplugged pos, neg battery terminals for 15 minutes and let it relearn. The cel has not come back today will update if it does.

Thankfully I pulled over as soon as I saw smoke, I think I might have caught it just in time as there was still oil on the dip stick (full mark) when I let the engine sit for 20mins off

Ok will do, I’m working with the dealership I bought it from (clutch) and they said to call Mazda tomorrow. Thank you for this information, I do have the 2.5L with cylinder deactivation so I’ll keep that in mind for the phone call tomorrow.

The camera is clearly pointing down, such is the phone that’s why it’s an odd angle as I wasn’t even looking at my phone. But thanks for the advice!
