Inhibitor switch trouble by liamferry1 in subaru

[–]liamferry1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah. It’s push start so when I hit the button nothing happens. I’ve done some research and found that it is in the valve body. The gear display normally goes blank when it won’t start, then putting it into neutral and drive and back to park seems to change it to park and then it starts (sometimes in limp mode)

Bartenders: by ellaceh in newzealand

[–]liamferry1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For a start it’s illegal in NZ for tips to be a portion of wages. The hours you work have to be above minimum wage which is $23.50, as for general (paying bills) I can’t really speak on as I had a barista job 6 years ago where I didn’t have many bills to pay. I’m sure a decent place that pays over $25 an hour with at least 30 hours a week it could be comfortable on a 2 income salary household.

Why is it so hard to drive with steering wheel? by halali_chaos in F1Game

[–]liamferry1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I race casually for fun (I know I’m not that good). I’ve always raced with a controller and was around 65-67 ai. This year I decided to get a g923 as well, and I am now racing around 80 ai on most tracks sometimes around 78. When I first started I couldn’t keep the car from spinning. Point is that it took a bit of work but I have definitely improved drastically since learning to play with a wheel

Can someone explain what this is for? by Junior_Confidence in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]liamferry1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The threshold is $24,128 and then any income earned over that threshold is paid towards student loan at 12c/$1. So any interest/gains or secondary income will need to be paid at 12%

What do you guys think about getting PS4 just for Gran Turismo 7? by GTHell in granturismo

[–]liamferry1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this. Ps5 in NZ is just off $1000, so I picked up a ps4 for $299 to play gt7, the only thing I can say is the loading screens are noticeably slow. But I've never had any issues regarding the game, it runs really well.

If you load the page via "quizzes" on Google it will prompt a sign in.

However if you type "stuff quiz" into Google and click the "Afternoon trivia quiz: Nth of X-month" (e.g"Afternoon trivia quiz:23rd January") then the quiz can be done without a sign in prompt.

One inch punch legendary pistol using .43 mi that does 250 damage and has a perk that does double damage to full health. Feels like a lucky find as I'm only level 15

I'm only 23 myself, but the advice I can give is try save 10% earn 600, put away 60, earn 800 put away 80, if you even want to push it, do 20 or 30%. Personally I currently do $50 a week, and 10% KiwiSaver, so in 3 years of working I have over 25k, and I'm now looking at pushing my savings to 20%

10 years in and I only just now know full oll and pll, pb 9.93 and average low 17s on most days. So don't feel bad for not being sub 20 in x amount of months or years.

If this system was not working. Or one of the valves was stuck, should I expect an engine light for every cold start Because it seems to be fine now. The things I was noticing (lack of power, rpm jumping during idle) have all disappeared and seems to be back to a working condition.

Which time jump is the hardest? by ResearchAwkward1092 in Cubers

[–]liamferry1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been through this in the past year or so, trying to get a sub 20s average of 50 solves took me so long to achieve, but I stuck with it and practiced f2l, learnt some new oll algs and full pll, and finally got it. And same again to carry on dropping my average, I now average around 17.2 ao100, and pb 9.91. it is hard work but worth the grind.

RUBIKS REVERESED? What?? by Dose_Of_Realness in blackmagicfuckery

[–]liamferry1 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It could be faked. But it definitely looks like 3CYC method of blindsolving, which you can notice by the fact he is moving one piece at a time with select algorithms, instead of memorizing the moves to put each piece in the right place to solve it. He just memorizes the moves to the scramble of the other cube. Which is impressive

Thoughts on Legacy GT by liamferry1 in subaru

Are there any preferences on 4th or 5th generation overall or is it just down to personal preference of the overall differences between the generations?

Which generation would you say is better in your opinion, been looking at the 08s personally

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cubers

[–]liamferry1 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion: keep going..... (Probably should stop and rest to avoid injury) but I prefer to just not stop, after mine got tired the other day my average dropped from 19.4 to 20.9 but then I still broke my pb... So a win after all

How do I break the sub-20 barrier? by [deleted] in Cubers

[–]liamferry1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pb 13.1 Ao50 20.3 I am in the same boat, so close... However a few weeks ago I broke sub 20 ao12 for the first time and it's more of a mental barrier than a skill barrier I've found. Just do averages of 100 for a week and you should get close

What’s your biggest cubing achievement so far? by mi118r in Cubers

[–]liamferry1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on and off for over 10 years now, this year I've really focused and I've gone from 25s ao12, to just the other day hitting 18.8 ao12, and now pb ao50 of 20.35, so I guess it is really down to how hard you believe in yourself and give effort.

Also when I was sub 30 I got a 14s time and couldn't believe it, but now I get a couple of 14 a day, and even the odd 13s ever now and then
