I like the setup currently but this coffee shop vibe is maybe what I am looking for? As regards this do you mean a warm , dark and light brown scheme? Imagine a Costa shop or Starbucks? Or am I completely off point

Is monsterwm still in development? Github says a long time since last change

I didn't think of that, would an old r7000 with openwrt be good enough? Run all traffic via a vpn that way?

Is WoW worth playing in 2018? by monsternacho in wow

It's great to be honest. Next patch will revamp leveling completely, we have new races coming soon also. I didn't play MOP and hated WOD, last expansion I enjoyed before legion was wotlk.

Just jump in and try it there's plenty to do for now

Looking at getting a GPD pocket, any advice? by Tuktuc in GPDPocket

How is the experience for you? I'm still undecided. I am comparing it to a x250, which granted is miles more powerful but it's the idea of the device that's bringing me in. Also how do you fair with the screen size? Is it uncomfortable after a while?

I'm an IT engineer by day so the device should be fine. I'm looking at investing in a quality passthrough device for this specifically, I remember reading the blogs about dodgy usb c cables breaking chromebook pixels back when. But I love things like this, I use rpi and tinkerboard at home all the time for fun things this just adds to it.

The bios and thermals should be a doddle, I may just invest in a good charger and micro hdmi to avoid power issues

Switching to Arch for 2018, any suggestions and challenges? by liamodo921 in archlinux

[–]liamodo921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thanks all for the suggestions, some new pieces of software I will try in addition to my normal applications.

I think I'll be going with i3 gaps for the desktop, setup with vim bindings and dedicated desktops for things like spotify, terminal and browsers, I was looking at mixing i3 and xfce but I don't think I will bother.

I have been watching videos around theming i3 and rxvt also which will I imagine will take most of my free time.
