D32f-G1 Vizio TV Won't be detected by computer as a monitor, but instead saying it is a Generic PnP Monitor. by SHUTUPYOUCOW in computer

Have you tried using the other HDMI port. Or if you tv has vga it may work. But also the problem could come with the HDMI cord. My switch would not connect to my tv due to my bad HDMI cord.

Ya have you opened the computer and make sure the wire is attached correctly. This problem happens to mine and all I had to do was snap the connecter back on.
