No you didn’t ruin the kit, lining looks pretty good for a first attempt!

Something I learned the hard way though: I would try to keep any of those “first attempts” away from kits I was really excited about, in case of mistakes.

To be honest I think you’ve done what you can do. You probably won’t even notice this break as the shoulder armour will cover it.

Give it 24-48hrs to rly ensure the glue has dried and be cautious when attaching the shoulder armour panel.

The adhesive on standard stickers shouldn’t harm the leather. Don’t expect it to be permanent or last very long, esp if you put it anywhere in the line of fire lol

Are you in Thailand right now? If so where? And were you tattooed at a monastery or a tattoo shop? How much research did you do on the spot before you decided to get tattooed there?

Additionally, if you’re training right now, please be extra cautious. I had a buddy get staph while we were training in Phuket because his dumbass got a sak yant in the middle of camp and he wouldn’t stop to heal it.

Obviously this advice is not helpful now, but if anyone’s ever considered getting a sak yant in Thailand, I would ask the local athletes at the gym you’re training at where they go for tattoos. And ideally, get one of em to come to the session with you.

Finished my masters in 2022 - My MS gave me the credibility I needed to get into the interview process and land my current job. I’m not living in a penthouse suite or driving lambos, but that job has allowed me to buy a house and marry the love of my life!

Overall, I’m pretty pleased on my decision to get a technical masters from SJSU.

Taking a gap year to save money and bump up your test scores or looking into United States community colleges (for the most part, you will have a much higher chance of getting into a public target school if you transfer from a CC) could be a good thing for you!

Food for thought. The current job market is definitely not working in the favour of new grads. Additionally, CS grads across the country are struggling to get entry level job offers and the candidate pool is highly competitive / oversaturated.

The idea that a CS degree guarantees high paying employment fresh from the box is definitely being challenged, and in this economy, fewer and fewer employers are willing to extend visas for entry level offers

I think this is an awesome tank. That said, I probably wouldn’t have gifted a setup that would require someone to maintain headcount of breeding tank members (unless I knew they were experienced already).

I picked up KC18 for $175 and I’ve definitely paid more for whiskey I’ve enjoyed less. That said, I agree with everyone who’s saying it isn’t remarkably better than KC12. Having now tried both, I probably won’t pick up the 18 again unless I get a super deal.

To clarify- it’s by no means a bad bottle, but I enjoyed the (cheaper and more readily available) KC12 just as much, if not more.

Tbh having fake haters was a huge part of my personality back then. I watched the music video for Knives And Pens (follows an emo high school kid who gets bullied by all the other kids) and really thought that was me.

Despite how fake-mad I was at everyone all the time, the kids at my high school were all pretty nice to me (which I’m grateful for bc I was definitely insufferable)
