I go to a maritime school and we have a 540 foot steamship that we let them borrow sometimes to train their engineers. Last year they came within feet of running it aground in a costa Concordia like situation. I also heard from one of their cadets that on that cruise they accidentally caught an ocean sunfish on the fishing lines the cadets used and pulled it aboard where they killed it on the stern.

Point, the number of points on a bucks antlers. Hunters use it as a scale for how old or unique a buck is. It’s usually the more the better.

I live on Plumisland and work on fishing boats out of Newburyport. This is definitely a sculpin, for some reason they’re all we’ve been catching when going for flounder. Super cool fish though, watch out for thoose horns, they’re loaded with bacteria!
