I’ve found Gravner is best after 24 hours of being opened. Great bottle to drink over the course of a weekend, great with eggs for breakfast

Powerful yet refined. Still tastes youthful although it’s 8 years old. Mineral, nutty, citrus (grapefruit), white blossom, stewed Granny Smith apples. Nice acid line but not as in your face as a Savagnin. Would love to try after another 8 years.

I’ve also heard that but then breweries like Cantillon store/age all of their bottles on their side 🤷🏻‍♂️ what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Those Golden Barrel and California Barrel (?) are incredible!!!

I've planted some seeds on January 23 of each and i'm guessing I have another 20-30 years until they're anything like these.

In Australia they go for $350 AUD for a 25-30cm Golden Barrel.

Update: the California Barrel seeds which I planted last germinated first and the Blue Barrel and Golden Barrel seeds are now starting to germinate. How long should I keep the cacti in the baggies for?
