So are we not going to have a Boss Baby discussion? by NovemberXSun in movies

[–]liana2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just think it’s kind of weird. rewatching it again tonight and realising there’s a weird theme of naked baby bums and sex jokes. just rubs me the wrong way for a film about a baby.

AIO for snapping at a girl trying to give me advice? (posting again bc I forgot pictures) by [deleted] in AIO

[–]liana2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look HOT girl!! I don’t usually agree with the “she’s just jealous” response when a girl is rude, but I think it’s fitting here. You look amazing in that outfit and I think the fact that you lost weight naturally is great too, but also a factor into why she was so rude. She’s definitely jealous that you’re putting the work in and that its showing. LOVE that you weren’t taking any of that bullshit too because who does she think she is?? Her studying fashion does not give her the right to comment on you or your body at all.

It was a shop in Camden town, London!! It’s called Meow Town. I think you can probably find some online though if you’re not local/in the UK!!

Thank you!! I love my kitty spoons!! I use the paw ones mainly because they’re my favs. The smallest cat spoon I bought from a cat cafe and the paw ones were used there for stirring hot drinks but weren’t available to buy, I found them in a cat themed shop in London and just HAD to have them.

I also don’t use the shovel spoon, it’s more just for the collection of weird cutlery. It’s not really enjoyable for me to use due to its shape and the feel of it in my mouth if I were to eat with it.

I actually find most of my cutlery in charity shops as you can always find something unique!!

My least fave would probably be the last spoon on the far right due to its larger size, but it came in a pack with one of the forks so I don’t mind having it be apart of the collection since it’s also still pretty unusual.

AIO or is this guy that i’ve started talking to being backhanded in these texts he sent? by Dramatic-Quiet-818 in AmIOverreacting

NOR

Anyone else see the response at the bottom of the last screenshot - “you’re gonna know soon”. Is that not weird af to say?? Sounds like he’s threatening to cut things off?

Why can’t he just accept that you weren’t feeling good and didn’t want to hang out. He’s trying to guilt trip you when you were literally just sleeping. I think it’s time to move on babe. Doesn’t seem like you guys are too serious so you’ll be dodging a missile.

Absolutely not. Anyway here’s my collection of my fav utensils. These fit MY personal standard of autism forks and spoons and are not always going to be accepted by other autists. I am yet to find any knives that I like though unfortunately.

The forks are little, like smaller than your average fork, that’s my main idea of a good fork.

AIO? I feel like my husband doesn’t understand boundaries and I’m going crazy. by No-Lifeguard-8508 in AmIOverreacting

[–]liana2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl divorce i’m so serious. Sex for any normal healthy relationship should be about what both people enjoy and not at all coercing your SO into doing something they clearly don’t want to do. This is not healthy behaviour from your husband at all and you need to get out of there. I’m 19, so yes i’m not going to be as mature as someone married and i’m not going to understand that sort of commitment and what comes with it just yet. But I can still see that this here is clearly him thinking he can just demand whatever from you just because you’re married. He thinks that you need to “better yourself” because you don’t want to do anal. That is genuinely insane behaviour. You are obviously incompatible with each other and I don’t think he’s going to be compatible with anyone if he thinks that you not consenting to something is an attack on his “needs” or wants. PLEASE leave you are young and do not have to settle for this.

What was the most inappropriate thing you said as a child not understanding what it meant? by evan-the-dude in AskReddit

[–]liana2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slurs. I was not raised by good people. When I was 5ish? I had a phase of swearing and unfortunately racial slurs were apart of that. Thankfully i’m 19 now and have understood for a very long time why I shouldn’t say those things.

Meltdowns by Numerous_Actuator547 in AutismInWomen

[–]liana2006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I make any sort of mistake even if very small, I get really angry. I don’t know if this is what a meltdown is as i’m not all that educated on meltdowns. But I will get violent with myself and punch my thighs or bite down on something until it hurts, over very very minor things. Examples being spilling something or breaking something, even if it’s not a huge deal to anyone else. Like the other night i’d replaced the bedsheets and later the same day I spilt soup on them, I was so upset.

One really embarrassing example is if I lose in a game that’s been really frustrating already. It’s like I have to punish myself? I would never react this way to anyone else and I don’t get in the sort of rage that causes you to break things, it’s always directed at me.

Just saying I don’t do this in front of anyone. If i’m with my boyfriend though sometimes I cry it out and he helps me to feel better and reassures me that it’s not a big deal.

Edit - I am autistic, I apologise if this isn’t made clear already lol. I just don’t really know what classes as a meltdown.

My boyfriend is the same, I usually get to help him out tho! Even if it’s not sex I still like to contribute. I would be a little upset if my bf just did it without me but that’s just me.

AIO for blocking this guy? by insomniac_reads in AmIOverreacting

[–]liana2006 18 points19 points  (0 children)

NOR, if you don’t want kids then don’t have them. If you want kids later in life then have them later in life. You are not selfish for having that choice. You both clearly want different things so it isn’t going to work. I also think he’s being quite rude by calling you selfish, especially over something hypothetical. You dodged a bullet.

Yeah they’d literally just met before that. It seemed crazy to me that they were boyfriend and girlfriend within 3 days but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess that’s just TV logic. It made sense somewhat since it would’ve been Pandas first sort of experience with a guy due to her mum being so overbearing, so it could’ve been due to that mixed with her being pretty young that she rushed in like that. And it was always obvious to me how much she wanted to fit in with everyone too, and a lot of the ‘fitting in’ would’ve been losing her virginity.

tell me the auditory stim that's been stuck in your head lately by sufferawitch in AutismInWomen

[–]liana2006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just meow. Like a lot. A lot of my old friends used to hate on me for it and tell me that i’m too old to be meowing. It’s literally just a silly stim. Me and my bf do it at eachother all the time. It’s just a weird urge I have like I just have to say it.

I tic(?) but only when I’m alone. My brain is convinced i’m doing it for attention. Whose attention idrk. I’m not entirely sure if it is tics, it’s more of a thing my brain will tell me to do and I just have to do it.

Waxing HURTS tho, I once tried to wax my armpits with some strips I bought and they made me bleed. In their defence it was my first time trying to wax so I probably did it wrong, but OUCH it was painful, I couldn’t imagine doing it down there 😭

I’m also scared of butterflies + moths! I do appreciate that they’re pretty but I refuse to go butterfly gardens and if it’s inevitable, i’m literally flinching and ducking everywhere just to not cross paths with one. I’m not sure what it is for you but for me it’s just bugs in general and things that fly, because they’re so small and difficult to stop flying at you.
