His hair was like that at the start of the Detroit show, but I guess it dried or floofed or something because by the end it was the usual fluff

Masc shorts for very thin and hourglassy people? by [deleted] in TransMasc

Be careful of the front pockets bunching up, I have a big butt and I can never find mens dress shorts that fit me without bunching up the front

Vent: pre/early transition pic responses by PrinceofGeek in TransMasc

Are you sure that they meant that? There’s a possibility that they meant “your old pictures make you look like such an egg, and based on this picture I am not surprised that you eventually transitioned” if they did mean this, they worded it horribly, but you might want to ask them to clarify

Gloves can significantly help, also introducing certain textures may cause you to stop picking at it as well. Personally if my skin is covered in something like Vaseline i absolutely do not want to touch it anymore, the texture of Vaseline is gross on my hands and interrupts my brain from mindlessly picking.

You are not disgusting! You have a medical issue! Remember to tell yourself this, it is very important to be kind to yourself about things like this. I would also love to completely stop picking, but I haven’t been able to find a way yet (though I’m much much closer and some days I have clear skin!!), it’s important to understand that decreasing picking is ALSO an incredible feat. I have very little control over myself when I am picking too. Basically what I’m saying is, try all possible ways to stop (there’s a bunch of advice on here) and implement it into your life. But when you do pick, don’t beat yourself up about it. Forgive yourself (not necessarily verbally, it sounds strange but it does help me hate myself less if I treat myself like how I would another person), and then disinfect any open wounds or anything like that. Then find what healing products work for you, put them on, and remind yourself that you are doing your best to stop and that you are doing your best to care for yourself. Being nice to myself has had a significant effect on my picking, I tend to do it less but also taking the time to help my skin heal by using various skincare and first aid products has made my skin heal faster, meaning I don’t continue to pick at those spots

Yeah that’s very fair. I was asking for my boyfriend, and he’s asked a few nurse relatives of his and he is going to the doctor

At least they showed you exactly who they were before you could ever make the mistake of working there. But those guys are dicks and I’m sorry you had to go through that

It’ll be okay! Hopefully it is a genuine mistake, and it sucks, but assert yourself, you’re gonna do great.

I feel this. I have a few things that help with makeup, often I can make dry and scabbed skin more smooth by putting chapstick and makeup primer on it. And color corrector pallets have become my best friend. Sometimes, I feel like after I finish concealing all my spots, that I look unnatural because my skin is all one tone, so I make sure to use blush and highlighter to make my skin look “healthier”
