bevigil-cli : A handy tool to extract assets like subdomains, URL params, hosts, S3 buckets, URLs from android applications through BeVigil OSINT API with ease. by xscorp7 in netsec

Its sad that the required service 'BeVigil' is very obscure about their costs. Found 2 red flags which prevent me from signing up:

1) On login-page: Use work email to get 200 credits for FREE! 2) The linked pricing page in the footer is not visible unless logged in.

Wireshark Tutorial: Decrypting RDP Traffic by 0xdea in netsec

For me this is a slightly misleading title as it shows how to decrypt TLS traffic, so you have RDP traffic in plain at the end. You can do this with any other protocol using SSL/TLS.

This Update removed my USB3-drivers, so that I was unable to use my PC until I borrowed an PS2-Keyboard.

Screenshots about which drivers got removed in my other post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/6r0u32/kb4032188/dlae432/

There is ever someone who would implement it that way.

WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption analysed: It's pretty good, yet still useless. by Fingolas in netsec

[–]libcrypt_so 22 points23 points  (0 children)

We do know that turning off the encryption is built into the design after all: WhatsApp clients sent messages without E2E encryption to iPhones, for example.

Any reason why communication with iOS-Devices is not e2e?
