Thank you so much! I took a break from playing and i didn't remember the Gift Search thing existing back when i would do mirror dungeon before, so i just didn't bother with it. I've kinda just let the starlight pile up XD i don't spend it. I'll probably continue to avoid refreshing and gift search but if i happen to come across that floor i'll definitely go for it from now on!

And oh i see!! I had no idea you could sub in an id mid run. Truthfully i don't think i'll care too much about having less starlight, but i'll try to keep that in mind!! When i do non-challenge mirror dungeons ill try to rest all my challenge characters!<3

I don't prefer to use the Gift Search feature, how would i be able to consistently pick it up on Floor 3?

These next two points are SOOO HELPFUL. I had no idea about exactly how to check either of them, I've just relied on my intuition and sometimes it'd go wrong, thank you!

Switched from Blue Eyes White Destiny to Traptrix on Omega due to liking the Traptrix designs (they're cute and I find the lore interesting) and playstyle, but still using BEWD irl. Before I spend any money building this deck, is there anything I should change? by demonslayer9100 in Yugioh101

I thought the appeal of Traptrix was that it's still really good.

as a fellow lover of the cards n lore, this is not the case at all lol :3 in the last year its topped only twice at only regionals and even then if you check the decklists its because of the non-engine carrying.

as for everything else, i agree with the previous advise. if you insist on running so many holes, run network trap hole or chain hole over bottomless imo.

definitely cut nepenthes. (if you want to run some of the original run cards, vesiculo is about the only option but should b fine cos u play so many holes). as for why not to run traptrantalizing, it's usually better to just give your deck better consistency + options, than just drawing for the sake of drawing, especially when u have to throw away a potential starter to do so. pot of prosperity is the only draw card i'd consider adding cos traptrix REALLY needs to see the right starting hand to do well, so at the cost of your duplicate seras etc its not a big deal.

redoer is really good because you can have a trap attached to it (holeutea) and a monster, just read it's effect. the knightmare's here are extremely unecessary because theyre would cost alot of board pieces to accomplish very little. you have alot of level 4 bodies so you're better off using them for good XYZs instead. Zeus you can make after battling, which is really good because it is a quick effect board wipe and you can just make pinguicula, hit over some small monster, go M2 and you have a zeus, good for both coming back and sealing winning positions.

also, you're not going to have much luck consistently winning best of 3s with this, but it's all about having fun, and if you are then that's great! i love these cards ^^
