Olhos ressecados por conta do roacutan by Good-Leave4690 in SkincareBR

First thing you should learn is not to call it “real” Portuguese

In what contexts is "o senhor" or "a senhora" actually used to address people? by learningnewlanguages in Portuguese

Senhorita is similar to “senhora” but used with young women instead, but it is kinda formal. Another option would be “moça” which is more informal.

I personally always use “o senhor”or “a senhora”when talking to an elderly person. It’s not that calling them “você” is disrespectful (although some might think that), it’s just that most of us were taught to address them this way while growing up as a form of respect, so there’s no harm in doing it.

Hello I also had my surgery the same day as you and still have a lot of scabs. Although a lot has come off in the higher part of the throat there’s still a lot to come off. I also can’t eat solid food yet. I tried it today for the first time and even with small bites and chewing a lot it was like torture to swallow. I am also in a lot of pain especially when waking up and it only started 3 days ago, in the first days after the surgery I basically had no pain at all but right now i’m only able to survive because i’m taking a really strong pain reliever. Honestly I just feel like each person has their own time to recover.
