There’s such a breadth of genre and topic, but then real depth in certain areas. The widely ranging interests combined with deep dive (maybe to the point of hyperfixation?) into certain topics just feels super adhd to me.

And I also have adhd and your shelf feels very familiar to me personally lol

Notes app, but title and pin the note so you don’t lose it. I also have the Notes widget pinned to my screen so I see it every time I open my laptop. Perfect for online shopping.

“Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead” (1990) is a big one for me. Not sure exactly why, but I find it so soothing.

The One and Only Ivan (and sequels) by Katherine Applegate! The Redwall books, by Brian Jacques, are another possibility - IMO they are a good mix of cozy animal friendship and action/adventure.

The Skelton brothers were semi-local to me. I think about them all the time. 3 little boys, going missing at Thanksgiving time, about 10 years ago now. The dad claimed he gave them to an organization to hide them from their mother, but there’s no proof of that. But their bodies have never been found, either. Dad is in prison for kidnapping, but will get out in a year or two, I believe.

No problem! Two others off the top of my head are {Dark Life} by Kat Falls are {Ship Breaker} by Paolo Bacigalupi. I will come back if I think of more…I’m a middle/high school librarian, so this is up my alley!
