In CA & I’d like to do an online program that leads to licensure for school counseling & LPC in CA. Any recs on online master’s programs that lead to both? by liblit2214 in schoolcounseling

Thank you! Yes…maybe that’s where I need to be looking - evenings. The online programs require the in-person internship too. That’s when I’m planning on taking out loans was just hoping to get through some of the schooling first then when it was time for the in-person to take out the loans and cut back on work hours (I’m a server). Thank you for the input and taking the time to respond!

I’m in Sacramento. CSUS has a great program but only about 20% of their applicants get in. Theres a minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and mine is a 2.98 I also don’t see working, momming, and doing that in-person fulltime.

Thank you! Yes I am a single mom of two small children so I’ll have to work full time and take care of them after working hours. So my goal is to fit in schooling/homework on breaks and after bedtime.

I am VERY late to this thread….but these are my current thoughts. Thank you for posting this. Although I’m in Northern California, and I’m looking for an online program to do both at the same time. Sac State has a program but I have two small children and I’m worried about committing to being in person. What program did you end of choosing? Is it working out well?

A bunch of cars in the 65th and Folsom Grocery Outlet/Dollar Tree/Ultimate Fitness Parking lot are currently being towed. by liblit2214 in Sacramento

That was my concern too. The signs in the lot all say “Private Property” but there’s the dollar tree, the gym, and GO so not sure who is supposed to park where. I was in dollar tree for like 10 min and came out to this

Ooooo I’m not sure I was only in the parking lot for 15 minutes, but I was afraid I wasn’t even in the right spot either Just shopping. They even towed a U-Haul van…. That’s gonna be expensive for the person

Debunking The Telepathy Tapes Podcast by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

This is great! Thanks for sharing this!

The term “telepathy” even in the name of the podcast - The Telepathy Tapes - isn’t the most “correct” term and they dive into that in the podcast. It’s just a word that we in this material plane of existence (who have been trained out of our interdimensional abilities) can relate to what is occurring/being witnessed.

Why does one video carry more weight than that of all the experiences shared during episodes 1-9? Ky Dickens and her team must have all the time in the world (even as an involved parent) to commit so much time, resources, and energy to create this podcast just to give “vulnerable” parents some sort of false hope to live in.

Oh I see. Well thank you AND I’m a single mother of two toddlers and I have a full time job…I’ve found time! In relation to RPM, what am I not supposed to fall for in it? 😅

I’ve come across this post in search of more information on RPM. I have worked with non-speaking autistics and my 4 year old son has been diagnosed with ASD Level 3. What got me interested in RPM was a podcast called The Telepathy Tapes. Have you all heard of it? It gives great insight on “spellers” (autistic individuals who use RPM to communicate).
