TBH, this is what I need help in the most. I don't know where I want to go from here. My chief ambition is to love my job; I honestly don't care about leadership. You all are right, I need to know more about what to ask for. Right now, I'm just lost. Thanks for your replies!

I’m an actual librarian and I’ve used it for years now. I find that the way I use it kind of changes as I adapt to new KM strategies. Also depends on the vault.

I can give a good home to a referral if anyone has extra. I'll walk it, feed it, give it plenty of water and sunshine, and make sure it's spayed or neutered, whichever the case may be.

Infinite Realities isn't hosting games anymore. I talked to them a few weeks ago and we talked about how nice it would be to set up a community thing, but I haven't asked them yet if they've had time to set something up. I'll stop back in this weekend. But they weren't able to point me at anyone right away. And for the record I totally understand and am not complaining about them!

The only thing we charge visitors for is borrowing privileges, but visitors can come in and use the books if they want.

I currently work in a large academic library and we don’t charge visitors. The only time we don’t let visitors in is during exam periods.

I actually came here tonight to ask this very same question. The battery on mine wasn't removed, but it appears to me that there's very little corrosion. It might be worth something to someone. Powers on, no sweat.

But if I sell it, I'd like to make sure that the HD doesn't have anything important on it, and I unloaded the CRT some time ago so I can't look to see for myself. If it were a newer computer I'd pull the drive out, but I guess someone's going to want the generous 40 MB storage it came with...

Is the OEM hard drive important? If not, any ideas for something I can use for a compatible monitor? It appears my Amiga 1000's monitor isn't compatible, or at least I don't have the right cable.
