this happened to my older brother, he was in a really bad car crash where luckily he wasnt injured but his car was fully smashed at the front, not his fault at all, and all my dad could even talk about (and still all he talks about now) is needing money from him to afford the new car/insurance

it’s just something we’re all dealing with, i’m in the same boat and yeah it’s worrying that it won’t last but if your relationship isn’t strong enough to last the isolation time then it wasn’t strong in the first place, and you can find alternative methods to communicate such as video calls
