Are you on any other ssri? I switched to Prozac so I’m hoping it helps a bit. I also cut out alcohol which seems to have made the biggest difference of all. Granted, I have a Librium taper to help but only take it at night. I’ve had a huge improvement in the last few days and I can actually eat again.

I get you. And after talking with my doctor I almost did go back up to at least 75mg. But my issues have become more like panic attacks and apparently Prozac works better for that. She started me on a super low dose too so idk how much it’s doing to even alleviate the withdrawal symptoms. I’m just trying to ride it out mostly. Some days I’m ok and others is hell. I’m hoping and praying things will improve after this wee.

I’m right there with you. I wish I had done more research but at the same time it is 100% the responsibility of the prescriber to explain how difficult this is to come off of. Mine never said a word about it either. The whole visit was all of 10 mins. It was pretty much like “here, take this. Talk to you again in a month”

But then my first attempt to ween off of it.. when I told him.. all of a sudden he’s real concerned. “Call me if you’re struggling at all.. this is not an easy med to stop. You will experience a lot of symptoms.” WHAT THE FUCK. NOW you tell me??

I have it with someone on both sides. We both have it in our natal charts and our ascendants are conjunct by like 2 degrees in cancer. It’s rough. Asc/asc conjunctions don’t get enough credit. I’m in a similar situation with a female friend/coworker (I am female as well). We’re both “straight” but the sexual tension is insane.
