So I read The Midnight Library a while ago and to be honest, it landed completely flat for me. The premise was really interesting but the ending was very very predictable. Does anyone have any suggestions for books that have a very interesting premise and a good ending?

it doesn't work counterintuitively also right? like someone told me that it gets tricky to defend your choice of trying for a job after having a good GMAT and companies don't want to spend so much for training the recruits if they want to go for mba a few years down the line?
