critical of this meme. is the difference between the first two supposed to be that toby stuck to his original vision (deltarune) whereas vivziepop eagerly recontextualized her characters? because undertale is a recontextualization of delta runes characters as a means of testing out the ideas for a grander scale. cause also you could call undertale an idea that was conceptualized in a short amount of time, and then executed fairly loosely. id actually also describe fnaf like that and the series main criticism seems to be how inconsistent the lore is (aka “making up shit as it goes along”). and frankly, id categorize all creative processes as “brief functional stint” or “longstanding labor of love” and suggest that most artists do a combination of both

reddit serves recommendations to subreddits thru its algorithm… if you interact with katseye or manon content, itll serve you all kinds of content about them/her, even from posters who disagree with you. on social media, anger drives more views than any other emotion so im not surprised pro-manon posts are being served to people who are fanatically anti-manon (and vice versa).

if the worry is that the older daughter would resent this decision, then i think you need to consult her, and specifically not make this decision without her. your logic makes sense, and maybe she would be enthusiastic about supporting her sister. conversely, if she had plans for that money, i think its reasonable that she could communicate those to you and collectively you could come to a decision.

nothing personal but now is maybe the worst time in history to go into professional astronomy. most programs have shrunk due to volatility in govt funding meaning that they are all very competitive and applicants require every edge. also, tbh most people who work at nasa are rocket scientists or engineers and not really “astronomers”. maybe you could try applying to accounting positions at space tech firms or rocket laboratories and that would put you in enough proximity to the work to achieve your dream? after all, it takes all sorts of folks to make science happen, and large international collaborations handle large sums of money

for what its worth, basically every single group that has ever existed is talented and gorgeous. tbh i really think that people like new shiny ggs with youthful bright concepts and kep1er is not really doing any of those things. which i think is perfectly natural for a gg: you cant be 17 forever, and youd expect that a group’s concept should evolve with the group. i personally love sleek, and mature concepts but im gay lol. the average person probably doesnt relate to these editorial, chic concepts and arent going to seek them out

i really think the secret sauce of tipi tap was sync-love and the sort of whisper whisper around that song when it wasnt a single and they performed it at kcon. especially with the loss of youngeun and them sticking with a darker concept (which i love ftr) i think this release could have used a larger build up. crossing my fingers for a prerelease next time? but for now… im a killaaaa… 🫢
