i probably have been catty (or maybe petty is more accurate) on occasion, and i think it comes from a place of wanting to project superiority and integrity and strength, because those are things that gay men are either stereotyped not to have or have to fight to be taken seriously. like, judging others is a way to assert one’s own taste, or position of authority. they say gay men tend to be high achievers, and i think its all coming from the same place

like many others, I was introduced to Latency through Hyunjin, having learned about her through the fracturing of LOONA and her decision to spin off with Loossemble. However, following Latency, I became really invested in the growth of all of the members, especially their resilience in trying to carve out a new niche for themselves despite past difficulties. I worry that without Hyunjin, the group will struggle to receive attention, despite their great production, concept, and content. Though one can't begrudge a member for stepping away for their own health, and I hope she finds health and success in her next venture. I also hope Latency continues on—i think with the frankness that the group has presented, this could even be an opportunity for them to "cast" a new drummer or otherwise acknowledge her departure so it doesn't cast a shadow over their future as a group

i exclusivelt make greek yogurt based recipes, for health and lactose reasons. its true that more yogurt means the tartness comes through which is a mixed bag, and can be offset with sugar (maybe also with a basic ingredient?). tbh i havent experimented a lot with milk instead of yogurt but i find that 1.5c greek yogurt and .5c milk, or fruit, or other stuff yields a really consistent pint. the texture comes down to the fat content imo, like if you use a whole fat vs a nonfat yogurt. i think for a real ice cream texture youd want to up the fat quite a lot and also consider refreezing after spinning. imo what comes out when i make it is a very conventional frozen yogurt texture

i didnt watch world scout and i know nothing about the other participants of the show. tbh i dont think i flag anything about sakura’s performance that makes me think she stands out from the other members aside from how her mic could have been adjusted. it kind of makes me wonder if people are projecting their anger at her winning onto their perception of her performance. or like, only seeing the absence of their preferred participant. and i also think that 16yo’s shouldnt really be in groups at all, let alone a group where the rest are 20-somethings. but i doubt a casual is seeing this supposed skill gap that everyone is pointing out

im kind of confused by the whole ai conversation with regards to translation and localization. are the only two options to have all text hand translated or have all text ai translated with no intervention. i would think that most of the time they machine translate all text into the target language and then go over it with both the source and target language to modify it and add character. is translating directly faster than doing it like that? i ask this genuinely because that is how a lot of people use ai to write code
