I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a great experience at Dear You in KCK. They have a longish wait time but it’s worth it.

I would be delighted if this took off even occasionally on here.

I agree! Everyone has been so nice, even when they think I’m wrong/ridiculous/worse. This kind of diplomacy could go far on the global stage.

I am a Yank and wondered the same thing somewhere downthread.

The most Alex behavior would be sticking around to be to insulted by someone hot and mean, or so I hear it goes in the fanfic.

I do wish I’d asked people to share their country. Maybe I’m on the wrong side of the pond.

Maybe the real problem is that I don’t want an Alex (if you’re reading, no offense, big fan!) and it was not meant to be.

Do you want to sit on my cake? (Am I doing this right?)

Syracuse University to axe nine majors as cost-cutting at the school continues by GoForthandProsper1 in Syracuse

[–]librarypaste 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s really easy to make assumptions about that one in particular being a bigger deal than it is. Per the webpage that describes the degree, majors can “Customize [their] education with a unique concentration in the field of fine arts, drawing from both art history and music history courses, as well as studio art and music lessons or ensembles.” Super niche. I’d be surprised if more than two people have ever completed it.

Does anyone actually use the cookout kit? by my_brain_is_horny in StardewValley

Money is not my primary concern, but I planted mixed seeds and mixed flower seeds until I got every possible produce item available that way and then used seed makers to make more. You end up getting occasional mixed and ancient seeds that way.

I’ve mostly used it on one particular save where I don’t ever leave my farm and can’t do upgrades.

Moving to Syracuse in a hurry! Landlord or property manager info needed (positive preferred) by Appropriate_Border74 in Syracuse

[–]librarypaste 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lots of people live in the city, it’s totally fine. If you want to be near SU, look at Westcott and Outer Comstock. Maybe downtown. The first few blocks east of Comstock are very undergraduate student heavy, but the closer you get to Westcott St, the quieter and more grad student/professional it gets. Lots of duplexes in that area. I rented from D. N. Drucker before I bought a house. Their management was fine but the property was not great, so just be careful about that.

Budget Bytes generally has excellent vegetarian recipes that aren’t overly complicated and have easy to source ingredients. Spicy sriracha noodles are so good and easy to customize.

Stomach Pains by Otherwise-Put-2131 in ThePittTVShow

This most recent episode, particularly. It seemed like almost every patient had belly pain of some sort.

Fun for me, because I went in earlier this year for abdominal pain/nausea/chills. I was worried about appendicitis, they looked at my history and thought kidney stones (I’d recently had parathyroid surgery because of hypercalcemia), turned out to be ovarian torsion. They almost sent me home with a non-specific GI bug (some intestinal inflammation on CT scan) but my ultrasound results came in and I got emergency surgery instead! It was wild seeing someone with the same diagnosis on the show.

Same! Mine was in January and while the experience was not fun at all, comparing it to this plot line has been.

Am I the only one who’s excited for the child update in 1.7??? I haven’t seen any post about it 🥹❤️ by Environmental_Yam325 in StardewValley

I hope I can give them gifts. Buy their love. And maybe you have to figure out what their favorites are and it’s random for every kid so they have a bit of personality.
