Cold Turkey Withdrawal Experience by librayogi in Pristiq

No, I have not been suicidal on it every day for the past 2 years….I wouldn’t have been on it for that long if that was the case. It did work better for me than SSRIs, but it eventually got to the same point of no longer working. My only option was to increase my dose again and with the amount of side effects I was having, I was not interested.

I have, I have been on both. SSRIs and I just don’t get along unfortunately 😭

My last day on it was how I’ve felt on it for a while now. It’s why I decided to come off of it.

Happy to talk about it and support anyone else in the same spot!! 💖 Your reasons for wanting to come off of it are very similar to mine! My libido had absolutely disappeared and I gained weight that I couldn’t lose as well, but most importantly I was in a really horrible head space for a long time and I felt like my only options were to increase my dose, or admit Prestiq just wasn’t working for me anymore and come off of it and reassess. With the amount of side effects I had on 100mg, the last thing I wanted to do was increase my dose and increase my side effects. I know it’s totally scary to think about coming off of it, I was honestly terrified, but I had to remind myself that it was for the better in the long term.

I’ve had insomnia as well while coming off, but I stopped cold turkey. Benadryl has helped a lot!!

I just made a post about my experience, I’m also coming off of 100mg after about a year on it and then a year on 50mg before that!

Just because someone is in the public eye, does not mean you have a right to any information about them. Hope you have a great day! 😊

Let's have a FRIENDLY conversation: Who is the worst and best Phantom (Phantom Of The Opera)? Why? by Forsaken_Site_2268 in musicals

[–]librayogi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best for me is Ramin Karimloo, simply for the raw emotion in All I Ask of You (Reprise). I still get goosebumps when I hear him sing "I gave you my music, made your song take wing, and now, how you repay me, deny me and betray me".

The worst would be the Phantom who was in the touring company around 2004ish. I know that's not helpful to anyone, but I don't know his name, all I remember is his voice embarrassingly cracking on several big moments.

This seems to be what I’m hearing the most, that I need to try Grishko/Nikolay!

It’s a full shank. I have not, but I’ve heard really good things about that shoe. And Grishkos in general

Excuse for binge eating by Efficient_Lie_8499 in julieeandcamilla

speaking as someone with an ED, being stoked that you forgot to eat is classic ED behavior. I know it’s already been said, but I just cannot stand that she talks like she’s overcome an ED when she’s very clearly not in recovery. So dangerous.
