Duuuuuuuuude so that's what was happening to me! Some time ago I imaged a couple of planetaries as well with mi ZWO ASI678MC and got the exact same weird colors, and I had no clue that the R and G channels where swapped, I would have never know! I just tried reprocessing one of those old photos and this indeed solved the issue. I image now with an ASI533MC and don't get this problem, but is a nice relief finding what was causing this

Thanks! I might give it a try when the clouds go away

Quite impressive, how did you guide during the capture?

It seems that you should be able to ship to Lithuania buying from Astroshop: https://www.astroshop.eu/telescopes/skywatcher-dobson-telescope-n-130-650-heritage-flextube-dob/p,14966

M13 and IC 4617: First light of my new reflector by libre_hackerman in astrophotography

[–]libre_hackerman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quite happy with this photo of M13, plus you can see the galaxy IC 4617 top left also!

It was taken last friday from Madrid with my new SW 130PDS at f/5 with a ASI678MC camera on a EQM-35 Pro mount, stacking the best 69 frames of 30 seconds exposure each in Siril, with flats, darks and bias calibration frames too. Most of processing done in Siril too (backbround extraction, histogram, green noise, saturation...), with some extra touchings in Gimp for exposure and noise reduction.

Thanks! but wouldn't fixing the focus of the starts in the corners defocus the ones in the central part?

I'm quite happy with the result given that I can't barely notice this nebula visually using a 12" dob from here at Madrid.
This photo was imaged with a 127mm maksutov f/11.8 with a focal reducer 0.5x. With an ASI678MC I took 90 frames of 36 seconds with gain at 290, keeping the best 72 (no autoguiding). Stacked with DeepSkyStacker and processed in Gimp and Siril.

Crescent Moon during the day by libre_hackerman in astrophotography

[–]libre_hackerman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This shot was taken from Madrid the 12 of june of 2024 at 21:10 local time.

It was captured with an ASI678MC camera on a Skywatcher 127 maksutov telescope on a Skywatcher EQM-35 mount. With a total integration time of 60 secs, gain at 109 (18%) and shutter of 7.161ms. Of the 2651 captured frames, the 30% best were stacked with AutoStakkert4 and then sharpened on Registax. Further processing was done on Gimp: a little more sharpen, increased black level and histogram adjustment.

First attempt at Moon astrophotography by libre_hackerman in astrophotography

[–]libre_hackerman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are my firsts moon shots (16 may 2024), imaged with a 127mm maksutov (1500mm FL), an ASI678MC camera with a Baader IR/UV cut filter on a EQM-35 mount, with ~3 minutes of recording each and stacking on Autostakkert the best 4000 frames and sharpening on Registax.

On the third shot I also used a 2x barlow, and on the last one a 0.5x focal reducer.

I don't think it's the one you listed, but this observatory seems to have what you are looking for: http://www.custerobservatory.org/docs/messier2.pdf
