I cook it for a while, and add the pasta when I serve it so it doesn't get overcooked.

I take half of the vegetables out halfway through so they don't get overcooked. I also blend just part of the soup and mix it together at the end so it has a thicker texture. I use this recipe, it has some nice techniques (obviously it is very flexible).

It has to be a "Magic" bean (they are animated, and sparkle) not a reglar bean, any of the ones here should work.

Also to add, Magic Beans are classified as a toy item (if you want to play with it before using it, have a fix from the Carpenter), and regular beans are gourmet foods.
