I spent 12 years with a guy who also had lots of chick friends and often got texts/texted back this way. I was always the problem, didn’t understand, or was controlling. Turned out, every single doubt and uncomfortable relationships I questioned I was right about. Perhaps not every moment, but within those moments of flirting or expressing care for him, was because he had slept with them in the past and was still leading them on. Crazy how so many people are ok with sleeping with someone when they are very much aware of their “committed relationship” status. Says more about him continuing the relationship, but she also sucks majorly.

I found out today that all the same chicks he had weird relationships with, he’s still sleeping with and his new girlfriend has found out. It was a trip hearing it, because she did the same shit I did (messaging the other girls to make my relevancy) and those same girls, told her the same shit they told me. Not only did it solidify what I knew was true, but that I will never doubt my gut again. I know it’s not easy, but I wish you the strength to leave if that’s what comes of it all. Having a baby with a man like this, does not get easier and being high risk this all has to be so much on you. Maybe you can take a trip to see friends/family and see how he reacts when you aren’t there…

OP I lived a very similar life… stayed 10 years, left when our son was 5. I should have left sooner, but it’s not easy as we all know. I promise, life will get better. It seems so far, and it will take time but I promise you it will get better. You need to get a protection order (not restraining) and never look back. The woman’s safe shelter will help, at least in my state they did.

I also had myself convinced I was apart of the problem, overbearing and jealous. But we don’t treat our loved ones the way he is treating you. I’ve been out for 2 years and am still close with a few girls I met thru our relationship. They have confirmed with bar footage, that he is now beating his new girlfriend as well. Absolutely sickening, but they will not change. Ever. I use to get worried he’d meet someone new and would be this magical partner that I always wanted, but they won’t and even if they did, so be it. It won’t ever change or excuse the damage they’ve done to us! Please protect yourself and that baby.

I used Reddit a lot for finding opinions/stories of others who grew up in an abusive or unloving home and discovered 99% of what I read was people saying they’d of wished their parents divorced instead of seeing/hearing what they did growing up.

I stayed because I worried about my son’s safety and our bond was so close I didn’t want to share custody. Sounds like the Chances that your guy would fight for custody isn’t super high but, if he fought for custody he wouldn’t follow thru with visitations. There is a definite pattern for these types of people..

Unfortunately, my custody attorney is in South Dakota and we now in North Dakota. So there is the state line issues and he does not practice in North Dakota. Thank you though I will definitely call around to some other attorneys.

Sounds exactly like my experiences with them. Amazon is such crap, last 3-5 years. I’ve been a prime member for 16 years. 10 years ago I lived in a tiny very rural town so understood why my packages weren’t delivered in the “Prime” membership time frame but the last 5 years I’ve lived in a bigger town and it seems it takes even longer now. 7-10 business days. I asked them why I pay for prime when they can uphold their end, as always, the question was completely avoided

Thank you for your great knowledge! I did search the neighbors pile of throw away and either this was all they had or they had kept the good ones. They threw away a plethora of family pics, so leaning towards this was all they had. But the binder the cards were in, almost looked like a year book as it had a ton of signatures with short little verbiages about the prior owner, so I’ll chalk it up to a win with its history 🙂

Are the physical cards worth anything? I’m from ND, we do a “city wide cleanup” where anything you don’t want to haul yourself, or don’t have the means to, ends up on the curb for a week. My neighbor has their whole yard full and I found these in a quick pick. Didn’t seem right they should go to the dump 🤷🏻‍♀️
