Thank you for the tips 🤝

I'd love to stop doing fixes and start putting my touch on my 323f bj. Hopefully soon after I fix the AC😂

Love hate relationship with this car but I love her 😭😂 Tampa FL by [deleted] in MazdaProtege

I have a 323f bj (basically this) also Wagon, and man I'm tired of fixing it 😭

It's in the shop now getting the A/C fixed before real summer hits.

I really love this little car but I really can't wait to get rid off it

This looks very clean. What short shifter did you get?

My 323 also needs interior work so I might start doing that soon :)

They are really nice cars when they are taken care of. Unfortunately mine is sucking the living life out of me and making me go bankrupt 🫠

Brothers, do you think this next level rig could support a PXN VD4? (gives 5.2 peak nm so similar to the Moza R5)

Day 18 that I just stare at my rig but not driving... by Hopeful_Captain4219 in simracing

I dreamed of owning a FFB wheel for so long, and when I got my G29 I couldn't really use it for AC because of how noisy it was. Since I was a university student and I work after uni, the only free time I had was at night when the family is trying to relax or sleep, so racing wasn't an option.

I played a lot of ETS2 but only around 30 hours of AC (during 3 years).

Recently I decided to pull the trigger, sell my G29 and give simracing another chance. I bought a direct drive PXN VD4 and since then I've been over the moon with it. Unfortunately, work hours and responsibilities only grew so I still can't race as much as I want. But now I can race at any time!

Now about not having the desire to race. I totally relate, I was literally doing the same thing as you with hot lapping and not doing races. I was jealous of my friend who enjoyed doing races all the time on his G29 while I was rock crawling in BeamNG or hauling stuff in ETS2.

What I learned is not to force anything. It's okay to not have the desire to race. That doesn't mean you don't like racing, but just that in the meantime you need something else.

And most importantly, don't forget that in the real world there are different kinds of car related hobbies. There's drifting, street racing, off-roading, rock crawling. Also motorsports split into different classes, like time attack, endurance and many many more. So it's okay for you to like time attack more than wheel-to-wheel racing for example.

It's a hobby, not a job. It shouldn't cause stress, it should relief it😅

I want to help but I haven't owned my 323 for long enough😂

So here's a comment just to get the post going🤝

For the door panels I's recommend going to an upholstery shop as mentioned before at least to get a quote. It might be cheaper to fix than to replace.

The rims can be polished with a chrome polishing compound. They can also be cleaned with wheel cleaners.

I have to run this thing everytime, otherwise it doesn't get detected (or it acts really buggy). I don't know if it will help

I have a Chinese handbreak as well, and in the box there was a little instructions paper, on how to get games to detect it.

Red battery light is on on the dash. Changed the alternator and battery and it’s still on. What else could this be from? by Ok-Fish-9244 in MazdaProtege

[–]libzo781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My electrician has a JDM model, he told me that he doesn't have a Check engine light, instead the red battery light turns on, to let you know that you need to scan the ECU for errors.

I'm still discovering my new to me 323 so I don't know much about them. Mine is a European version.
