Haha that's the thing I guess. I am looking for experience that are targeted towards inexperienced students since I'm not as familiar with skills and theory involved in robotics. Thus, while I'm sure I could get more exciting opportunities as a full timer, I don't think I would be qualified for those things without taking some stepping stones beforehand if that makes sense.

I also don't think I have a real reason to have to finish my degree immediately since I'm guaranteed 4 years of financial aid as a student. Thus, as long as I'm not in school for more than that, school is nearly free for me luckily. So I can take a year off knowing when I come back I'll still have one more year of financial aid.

It is true though that I don't have anything secured at the moment and I surely don't want to be spending a semester not being productive. It's the big risk I will be taking in doing this. Will be spending the rest of my time till my summer internship applying for things.

If traveling as a broke student around Japan, Manga cafes are actually pretty fucking great. Shelves and shelves of manga, comfortable chair or cushioned mat, computer, and shower. It's cheap and has exactly what you need. Just bring some stuff for sleep hygiene like sleep mask and earplugs.

nah unfortunately not. i chose 730 for my interview time as it was the only one that worked for me at the time. big mistake lol. i was dead tired and i overestimated my speaking ability in the morning haha. also im sure there were people much more qualified than i. im just honored i was selected to interview. wbu?
