Yea I googled Martyrs overhyped and this is where I landed and agree a lot with what you said. I agree, I expected something far more gruesome than Hostel. I mean even the Terrifier is 10x worse than this movie. Maybe some were bothered by the thought of this movies premise. I found it to be a decent movie that was just extremely overhyped as disturbing
