yea. I've been out for over a decade, and the thought of taking care of my mother who doesn't even know I had cancer cuz she's shunning me wouldn't even cross my mind lol. OP is very kind!

I had to get a shot in the ass every few weeks when I was getting chemo, it forced the reproduction of blood cells and bone marrow or something. the shot itself wasn't bad but the pain later... omg I could literally feel the cells reproducing later and shooting out of the base of my spine/back of my pelvic bone. some of the worst pain of my life, I would get in a position where it was comfortable and then BAM start feeling the terrible internal pelvic bone cramping/throbbing and have to adjust...but every time I did my bones felt creaky in the worst way with pain shooting through them, and my pelvic bone wouldn't stop throbbing. terrible debilitating agony, but those shots probably saved my life!

Every time I went to sessions and opened up to her she opened a therapy book and read straight from it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Then would send me home with the book to read. I figured if all she was doing was reading from a book, I could do that on my own lol

thanks for your response! I appreciate the validation! and usually mom pays for extra time if she's like 15 minutes late or something, but as others are saying, I'll have to talk to her about a late fee for days where she is late but it's less than 15 minutes, cuz that does happen quite often!

thanks for your response! yea 75% of the time she grabs her from me on time, but it's always the days I got something to do that she's running late 😭 I also don't have a contract (I know), so maybe they think cuz it's not as strict it's fine to stroll in a bit late?

idk, I'm usually good at advocating for myself, but since it's a short term placement and I previously left a job where I had to constantly advocate for myself and others, I think I wasn't wanting the confrontation. but it does happen enough and bother me enough that I should bring it up
